Biography
My work has appeared in Radar, the Los Angeles Times, The Weekly Standard, Reason, National Review Online, Yankee, the Wall Street Journal, DoubleThink Magazine and OUTBURN among other publications. Recognized by the New England Press Association in 2005 for excellence in arts and entertainment reporting. A 2002 graduate of the University of New Hampshire journalism program, I began my commentary career in earnest after a stint at the Associated Press.
Interests
Death, taxes, history, hopeless political movements, abandoned political philosophies, "You've Got Mail," the films of Adrian Lyne, Hugh Grant, grindcore (specifically Napalm Death's "Harmony Corruption" and Nasum's "Shift"), a black pug/companion animal named Bear, my wife Catherine.
